Don has over 36 years of business leadership experience within both Fortune 500 and start-up businesses. Don holds a BS in Computer Engineering from Baylor University and an MBA from the University of Iowa.
During the first 27 years of his career, Don held leadership positions at Honeywell and Rockwell Collins in the areas of engineering, marketing, business development, operations, strategy development and M&A within the commercial aerospace sector. In 2014, Don transitioned to the healthcare industry and joined Scott Pomeroy to help build the start-up Pinnacle Medical Partners (now OnPoint Medical Group). In his Business Development role, he led the clinic acquisitions and the de novo build-out of the ancillary services business for Pinnacle / OnPoint. Under his leadership, the ancillary business grew to ~$2M annual revenue delivering 45% contribution margins – the single largest contributor to the overall business profitability.
In addition to his work, Don serves on the board of Rhema for the Nations (https://rhemaforthenations.com), an international non-profit organization focused on reaching out to unreached, unengaged people groups with audio/video Bible “heart language” translations and media projects.
